Our Mission
The East Bay Regional Coalition will train the community in mental health awareness and crisis de-escalation to connect more people to needed resources. The project serves the communities of East Providence, Barrington, Warren, and Bristol.
We have several different programs to teach people about mental health and how to respond to someone who is having a mental health challenge.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

Stronger Together
Stronger Together is a 2-hour program that can be done as a self-paced module online or live training held in person or over Zoom. This training helps participants understand, recognize, and address mental health in their community. Participants learn practical tools to talk to someone about mental health, connect to support, and access additional resources.

Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is an international program that offers 8-hour training to adults, including two hours of self-paced learning online before a 6-hour in-person or remote training. This skills-based training course teaches you how to recognize and respond to signs of mental illness and provide initial help and support to someone who may have a mental health challenge.

Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale Training
Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale Training is a resource to teach anyone how to talk to someone about suicide and refer them for help when needed. The training is available online and as an app.
